Dear Community Partners,


April is “National Minority Health Month” a time to raise awareness about health disparities that continue to affect people from racial and ethnic minority groups and encourage action through health education, early detection, and control of disease complications. The Minority Health Coalition of Madison County (MHCMC) is a not-for-profit community-based organization designed to eliminate health disparities through education, advocacy, public relations, research and leadership​. During the week of April 24- April 29, the MHCMC will be having events to increase the health and wellness of minorities below is a recap of the events.

Join us on Tuesday, April 25, 11am at the Edgewood County Club at the Edgewood Country Club for MHCMC's Corporate Luncheon in honor of National Minority Health Month. The luncheon that will feature Dr. Joanna Brown who will share the results of MHCMC Community Assessment and Albert Gay as our featured speaker. We have included a sponsorship page that describes the sponsorship levels and ticket purchase(s) for the luncheon. Also, we are including a schedule of events during the week of April 24-April 29 to increase health and wellness.
